THE RANGE WEBSITE POLICIES Effective date: October 1, 2026 Version: 2026-10-01.2 ======================================================================== WEBSITE TERMS ======================================================================== SCOPE AND ACCEPTANCE These Website Terms govern therangeri.com, its member portal, and online bookings and payments, operated by Range, Inc., doing business as The Range, at 560 South County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822. Checkout requires your active acceptance. Acknowledging our Privacy Policy is not consent to optional tracking or marketing. Separate membership agreements, activity waivers, range rules, and the transaction-specific conditions disclosed before purchase govern the relevant service. These Terms do not replace a signed waiver or authorize a bank debit. Nothing here limits rights that applicable law does not allow us to limit. ACCOUNTS AND RESPONSIBLE USE Provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and report unauthorized access. Do not impersonate others, bypass access controls, introduce malware, misuse customer information, or disrupt the website. Staff access is restricted to authorized personnel. Website use does not establish eligibility to possess or use firearms, enter the range, or participate in a class. Applicable laws, identification checks, prerequisites, supervision requirements, and staff safety instructions still apply. Do not send bank credentials, identification documents, or other sensitive information through general chat or inquiry forms. BOOKINGS, CLASSES, AND EVENTS Review the service, date, time, attendee, prerequisites, equipment, and total price before purchase. Payment alone does not guarantee a booking: confirmation depends on successful payment where required and completion of the booking process. Contact staff if payment succeeds but confirmation is missing; do not repeatedly purchase to resolve that issue. Cancellation, rescheduling, refund, and no-show conditions must be disclosed for the specific service before purchase. Request assistance or cancellation at info@therangeri.com or (401) 443-9223. These Terms do not introduce a blanket no-refund rule or an undisclosed cancellation fee. Statutory rights remain unaffected. MEMBERSHIPS AND RECURRING BILLING New memberships have an initial 12-month commitment billed monthly, then continue month-to-month until cancellation becomes effective. Review the plan, monthly amount, initiation fee if any, first payment date, and subsequent schedule before authorization. Paying monthly does not eliminate the initial commitment. The supplied membership agreement provides cancellation after the initial 12 months with 30 days' written notice. Cancellation during the initial term requires payment of 75% of the remaining unpaid monthly dues in that first year, subject to applicable law. Submit written cancellation notice to info@therangeri.com or The Range at the address above; identify the membership holder and account email, not bank credentials. Staff will confirm the effective date and any remaining obligation. Legally required cancellation rights remain unaffected. The agreement also states a $15 late fee if payment is not received within 10 days of its due date, applied once per delinquent month; privileges may be suspended. It states membership is forfeited after 90 days' delinquency and rejoining requires a new initiation fee. These terms do not authorize website code to assess new late or termination fees automatically; they remain subject to the signed agreement and applicable law. Existing-member ACH transfers and eligible upgrades waive the initiation fee and show $0 due today. A payment-method change alone does not restart the initial 12-month term or replace the signed membership agreement. Existing online membership renewal dates may be preserved; migration allows a selected billing day. If verification finishes after the first date, the first debit moves to the next occurrence of the selected day, not an immediate catch-up debit. Billing-date clarification for this Preview draft: the supplied agreement says payments occur on the 1st. The website currently uses a selected ACH day or existing online membership renewal date, and new enrollment starts with the first payment at checkout. Those date provisions must be reconciled in the agreement before this draft is published to production. Our payment processor collects ACH authorization separately. Withdrawing bank authorization and cancelling a membership are different actions; either may leave obligations under a valid agreement, subject to law. Ask staff if you wish to do both. Required notices of billing changes must precede the change; revised Website Terms alone do not authorize a higher charge. SAFETY AND SEPARATE WAIVERS A current, separately signed Range Activity Waiver and Release is required before entering the range to shoot or participating in a class. The waiver is valid for one year; renew it when it expires before your next activity. This is The Range's participation requirement, not a statement that law requires annual renewal. A reservation, payment, membership, or acceptance of these Website Terms does not sign, renew, or replace that waiver. Members and guests must each have the required waiver. A parent or legal guardian must complete the applicable minor/guardianship section for participants under 18, following staff instructions and applicable law. A member's booking or invitation does not sign a guest's waiver. Check-in and staff verification of a current waiver remain required. Any activity-specific liability release, indemnification, firearm-eligibility certification, or permission to use a photograph, video, or name is addressed in the separate waiver or applicable agreement, not granted by the website checkout checkbox. Ask staff about those provisions before signing. These Website Terms do not expand or rewrite them, and mandatory legal protections remain unaffected. Firearms activities involve significant risk. Follow staff instructions, range rules, eligibility requirements, and the separate activity waiver. Checkout acceptance is not a release of injury claims or a signature on the range waiver. Training and Blue Card resources are educational, not legal advice or a guarantee of certification or licensing. CONTENT, AVAILABILITY, AND THIRD PARTIES Website materials belong to The Range or its licensors unless stated otherwise. You may view them for personal lawful use; do not misrepresent affiliation or redistribute protected materials without permission. This does not prohibit ordinary search-engine indexing or other lawful uses. Schedules, availability, and information may change. The transaction details and applicable consumer protections govern purchases already made. Third-party payment, chat, review, and linked retail services have their own practices and terms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted website availability and do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. CHANGES, GOVERNING LAW, AND CONTACT Updated Terms have a new version and effective date. Material changes to an existing service agreement require the notice or consent applicable law requires; new wording does not retroactively alter an accepted purchase. Rhode Island law governs to the extent permitted, without displacing mandatory protections applicable to you. These Terms impose no arbitration requirement, class-action waiver, or fixed liability cap. Contact info@therangeri.com, (401) 443-9223, or The Range, 560 South County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822. Keep a copy of the terms and transaction summary provided at purchase. ======================================================================== PRIVACY POLICY ======================================================================== INFORMATION AND SOURCES This Privacy Policy describes information handled by Range, Inc., doing business as The Range. We receive information provided through inquiries, bookings, memberships, household or guest invitations, portal accounts, profile updates, and separate range waivers. It can include name, contact details, address, date of birth, photo, membership and booking history, training records, and messages. Waiver records can include the signed agreement, signature or electronic acceptance, initials, signing date, document reference, renewal/expiration status, firearm-eligibility declarations, and applicable parent/guardian and minor details. When providing another person's details, ensure you are authorized and tell them how those details will be used. Technical information includes IP address, request time, device/browser details, security events, and error reports. Optional chat and review embeds can communicate device and interaction information to providers once enabled. See /cookies for browser storage; server logs are distinct from cookies. Requested eligibility-discount documents are sent to our AI screening service provider for limited automated screening. The Range does not intentionally retain the document after that request. Providers may retain data under their policies. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information; contact staff for help with a disputed screening result. PURPOSES AND PAYMENTS We use information to deliver requested services, manage bookings and memberships, administer household and guest access, verify benefits, support safety and check-in, answer questions, send account and booking notices, prevent abuse, investigate errors, and comply with law. We use waiver records to verify participation requirements and annual renewal, confirm applicable guardian authority, administer safety requirements, and document the agreement for disputes or legal obligations. Signing the range waiver is not by itself consent to optional tracking or unrelated marketing. Our payment processor collects card/bank credentials and processes payments and ACH mandates. We receive limited billing, transaction, subscription, and payment-status information, not full bank-login credentials or complete card numbers. Checkout acceptance records retain the policy version, server timestamp, selected service and billing details, and payment reference to verify the terms accepted. WAIVER DECLARATIONS AND LIKENESS PERMISSIONS The separate range waiver asks participants to certify their legal eligibility to possess firearms and ammunition. Those declarations can concern legal restrictions, convictions, or court orders. We use the declarations and related records for staff review of participation requirements, safety, and legal obligations; a certification is not a substitute for applicable law or legal advice. Do not send medical records, court documents, or detailed criminal-history information through ordinary website forms or chat. Ask staff which information is required and how to provide it securely. The supplied range waiver also contains a use-of-likeness provision concerning photographs, video, and a participant's name. We may use such material consistently with valid permissions and applicable law. Accepting Website Terms, booking, or enabling cookies does not itself grant that permission. Ask staff about the waiver provision before signing, or contact info@therangeri.com about an image, name-use, or privacy request. We will review the request in light of the applicable permissions and law. PROVIDERS AND DISCLOSURES Our service providers support contact management, calendars, messaging, chat, customer reviews, account authentication, portal records, payments and bank verification, website hosting, abuse prevention, requested AI eligibility screening, and font delivery. External requests can disclose an IP address and browser information even without a cookie. Third-party services may receive information about interactions and recognize a browser across visits under their own policies. We may disclose information to service providers acting for us, advisers, authorities where required by law or necessary to protect safety or legal rights, a business successor, or others at your direction. Separately linked retail and social sites have their own notices. We do not upload customer lists to advertising platforms or use targeted advertising or retargeting pixels. Optional chat and reviews are disabled until enabled through Privacy Choices. Enabling them is not an advertising or marketing opt-in. If our advertising practices change, we will update disclosures and provide legally required controls before introducing those uses. Contact us about an applicable sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising opt-out. COMMUNICATION PREFERENCES Use promotional-email unsubscribe links or reply STOP to promotional texts where offered. Contact staff if an opt-out fails. Booking, safety, security, and requested-service notices may still be sent where permitted. Purchasing, accepting Website Terms, enabling chat, or supplying a phone number is not by itself consent to unrelated automated marketing calls/texts. Marketing permissions must be collected separately where required. PRIVACY REQUESTS AND BROWSER SIGNALS Email info@therangeri.com to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, or an applicable opt-out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. Identify the account and request without sending identification documents or payment credentials initially. We may verify identity or an agent's authority and retain records required for transactions, safety, security, or law. Rights and deadlines depend on applicable law and coverage thresholds. Where Rhode Island's customer-rights requirements apply, the ordinary response period is 45 days, with a permitted 45-day extension explained within the initial period. Appeal a refusal to the same email with subject Privacy appeal; where applicable, we respond within 60 days. If denied, you may complain to the Rhode Island Attorney General. Other applicable state rights and deadlines are not limited by this description. Global Privacy Control prevents automatic activation of optional embeds in this browser; you may still explicitly request a tool. This browser setting is not an account-wide or offline opt-out: contact staff for broader requests. We do not change operational service processing in response to a legacy Do Not Track signal; use Privacy Choices to control optional embeds. Essential requested services remain available. RETENTION AND SAFEGUARDS We retain information as reasonably needed for stated purposes, transactions, safety records, disputes, and legal obligations. Retention varies by record and provider. A waiver's one-year validity is not a promise to delete the signed record after one year: signed waivers and related guardian records may be retained longer where reasonably necessary for legal obligations or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. A deletion request may not remove records we must lawfully retain; we will explain applicable limits. Safeguards include encrypted connections, restricted staff access, server authorization, secure session cookies, staff multi-factor controls, input validation, and verified payment webhooks. No system guarantees absolute security. Report suspected misuse promptly. Providers may process information in the United States and other locations. CHILDREN AND CHANGES This website is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 should not create accounts or directly submit information through forms or chat. A parent/guardian should contact staff about youth participation and required parental consent, supervision, and separate waivers. Tell us if a child supplied information without appropriate consent so we can investigate and act. We update this notice with a version and effective date and provide additional notices or consent where required. Our service providers may also receive device, browser and interaction information when their tools are used, even without setting a cookie. ESSENTIAL AND REQUESTED SERVICES We use essential storage to keep you signed in, protect accounts, remember privacy choices and support reliable page loading. Payment-related storage supports secure checkout and fraud prevention when you request a payment service. Hosting, security and font-delivery services can also receive network information. Login storage lasts up to 12 hours. Privacy preferences are remembered for up to 180 days; interface preferences may last up to 7 days. Some reliability storage ends when the browser tab or session closes. Payment-security storage, when set, typically lasts about 30 minutes or up to one year, depending on its purpose. Service-provider settings can affect these durations. Blocking essential storage may prevent login or payments. OPTIONAL CHAT AND REVIEWS Optional live chat and customer reviews stay off until you allow them. When enabled, these tools share device and interaction information with our customer-support and review service providers and may remember a conversation or recognize your browser. Storage durations vary by the provider and configuration. Enabling them is not consent to advertising or marketing. You can contact The Range by phone or email without enabling them. YOUR CHOICES Use Privacy Choices in the footer to allow or reject optional tools at any time. Rejecting them does not prevent login, booking or requested payments. A Global Privacy Control signal prevents automatic activation of optional tools in this browser, although you can explicitly request them. We do not change essential service processing in response to a legacy Do Not Track signal. Turning off already-loaded optional tools reloads the page and may clear unfinished forms. It does not erase earlier provider records or all stored browser data. Use your browser's site-data controls to remove stored values. For account-wide or offline privacy requests, contact info@therangeri.com. UPDATES AND CONTACT This notice covers our website, not separately linked retail or social sites, which have their own notices. Storage and service configurations can change; we will update this notice when needed. We do not use targeted advertising or retargeting pixels, or upload customer lists to advertising platforms.
